Denture are a good way of replacing multiple teeth although they can be used for single teeth too.

They take several visits to make usually but involve less drilling of existing teeth. However they do take up a lot of space and cover a lot of the mouth. Some people can forget they have them, but many people find them hard to tolerate.

They are not fixed so tend to move about although fixative can help sometimes.

Plastic ones generally use friction from neighbouring teeth to help stabilise them. This can work well although there is often movement of the plate.

Flexible plastic dentures can fit more tightly around teeth and will generally be more secure but they are hard to add to or adjust. They also rely on having good sound teeth to clasp around so have their limitations.

Chrome dentures are metal dentures. They are very strong. They have a good clasp system that doesn't bend out of shape. They are expensive though and are hard to add to or adjust.
